When it comes to building a life that matters, Pratik explains:
“We became proud homeowners in Hamilton in 2021. We’ve slowly worked to design our home so that it is a source of immense joy to us, and that provides a feeling of accomplishment. Building a life here in NZ I’ve learnt the key is to focus on working hard. The results come from how hard we work and what we’re willing to sacrifice to make it happen. As we invest in ourselves by growing a career, or building a business we can become an expert in our area. This creates options and flexibility in our future, allowing us to increase our income and reach our financial goals faster. Don’t focus on results. Focus on the work and the results will follow.
I came to Quantum looking for a place the had the financial wellbeing of our community as a focus. A platform to allow me to show other families how to build their own world of options. The biggest problem facing us today is the waiting list for treatment for health complications and emergencies. The public system is thousands of health care workers short. The number of people waiting for surgery is increasing daily and will only get worse. It’s an unfixable problem that is creating waiting lists that result in life-changing health complications, and even death. I never want to be in a position where I can’t afford to pay my bills, or worse yet where we lose our home because I can’t work due to illness or injury. I don’t want that kind of pain for anyone.”
